Shortcut Bar (Application Navigation)

The shortcut bar allows you to navigate between the individual application modules and functional areas. In addition, shortcuts also enable direct access to predefined views of different content, e.g. filtered and sorted views of your lists of tickets, tasks, or assets. In addition, individual cockpits and other functional areas can also be called up and important functions can be executed.

The content area displayed in each case is highlighted/marked in color. This makes the shortcut bar the central navigation medium in the system.

In combination with the function to open several tabs in parallel, you can very quickly open new lists and areas additionally. When you select a new shortcut, it is executed in the currently displayed tab (comparable to the common behavior of tabs in internet browsers). Only shortcuts that directly open forms will automatically open them in a new tab (e.g. user settings form).

The shortcut bar takes into account the system permissions, based on the permission group assigned to you. Functions, for which you do not have access or read rights, will not be displayed for you. In case of doubt, please contact your administrator.

If you ever need more or less space on your screen, you can use the "Pin" in the upper area of the bar to permanently pin or minimize the shortcut bar. Alternatively, you can place the shortcut bar on the left or right via the "Settings" menu.

Via the "magnifying glass symbol" you can search directly for shortcuts if you are not sure which shortcut is contained in which menu.
