<< Click to Display Table of Contents >> Navigation: Standard Features > Administration > Text modules |
This shortcut leads to the overview list of all available text modules.
Administrators can specify text modules for all users "user-specific = no".
Each user can additionally create their own text modules in this list "user-specific = yes".
Text modules can be used for messages or the solution description of tickets.
Text modules have the following fields and functions:
•Title (mandatory field): individual title for managing and displaying the selection of the module, these should be designed to be as eloquent as possible so that the user immediately recognizes which text module is to be used, the title can also be searched for.
•Relevant for the following language: Restriction to one language. Only text modules that either correspond to the preferred language of the person in the ticket or have no language restriction are displayed in the ticket.
•Active: text modules can be deactivated, so they are no longer selectable
•creator: indicates which user originally created the text module
•User-specific: if checked, only the creator can use this text module
•Copy/Delete: copies or deletes the current text module
•Ticket types (mandatory field): defines for which ticket types the text module is to be displayed for selection
•Module text: the actual text that will be transferred to the message in the ticket. The offered formatting and images are possible in the text. Attention: depending on the e-mail system used, not all formatting may be displayed 1:1 later in the e-mail sent, as this is not a pure html editor. In case of doubt, check the display with test e-mails.
•Dynamic placeholders: As in e-mail templates, placeholders for the text can also be used for text modules in order to fill them dynamically from ticket data. The placeholder must simply be copied to the corresponding text position in the template (only the actual text content of the field/list is copied in when the message is saved, not the field label).
