If the administrator has assigned the special role "Administration Master Data" or "Administration Management DB" to individual users, a corresponding new link appears for these users in the "Administration" shortcut group in each case.
•Administration of Master Data: Via the administration of the master data, a user can make all administrative settings and the maintenance of master data, to which normally only the administrator has access. The calendar settings (holiday and working time calendars) as well as the actual master data (organizations, locations, cost centers, persons and users as well as user groups) can be maintained in this way.
•Administration of Management DB: Via the administration of the management DB, a user can perform all administrative settings and maintenance of contents of the management DB, to which normally only the administrator has access. This enables the creation and management of types, attributes and services of the (Asset-DB), articles and packages for the web store, SLA contracts as well as the management of settings for the knowledge base wizard.
